I just saw there was an unproduced script for The Bradys - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

An unproduced script had Mike Brady die in a helicopter accident when he went to check out a progress at a fire break and the chopper hit a downdraft due to a wind shear caused by a flame. The script also called for Carol to sing at the funeral. In addition, Jan would have finally gotten pregnant, Gary would have proposed to Cindy and Peter would have taken over Mike's position as city councilman and the Mobile Trauma Unit that he helped build would have been named after Mike

I read this on Wikipedia. Is this true or was it just someone that added that?

It seemed sort of like a finale of all sorts. Was there such a script that was to conclude The Bradys like that? Mike dying in a helicopter crash? I don't believe it!

If there was one, Valerie should have came back to be with Peter!

Strange. The show was yanked pretty fast and I dont think several of the last episodes were even aired. Maybe they knew it was going to be cancelled and it was a way to close the series but it never got to that point.
