Everybody out there, let's get together and write to:

We've got to save FKB (there's only 30 signatures as of now!) before they take it off the air (Sep 1). Help save this American tradition, this American identity, which is even so much more important now after 911. Let's not forget that in those days 911 would have been impossible!! God bless our country!

It is NOT leaving September 1st. It will air Sundays in September still on TV Land. Haven't you been reading this board?

Guess I haven't been reading Huh? You're right, if you look at the posts you won't see my name except for today. Tell me about it. Did the petition work? You said in September; does that mean from September on? I work for the USDA overseas and the only time I get to watch FKB is when I go home on vacation. So it really makes me happy to know we have some fellow 50's sitcom enthusiasts out there keeping the home fires burning!

For some unknown reason(payola?), Pavanetc. has decided to dedicate his life to disinformation regarding the FKB petition.

As of THIS FRIDAY, Father Knows Best is GONE FROM THE DAILY TV LAND schedule.

Get that, Pavanbully? GONE FROM THE DAILY SCHEDULE. You see, this is how it works in real life. Either a show IS or ISN'T part of a daily TV schedule. Today, tomorrow, Friday -- FKB IS part of a daily schedule. Beginning Saturday, FKB IS NO LONGER part of a daily schedule.

FRIDAY -- Yes. SATURDAY -- No. See how that works?

That is the reason for the petition. And a good enough reason it is for anyone who is truly a fan of this show. (A definition which clearly does not include pavanboy.)

So, echs4168 -- keep up your good work on the petition. We need it!

Yeah. PB is probably the most reliable source when it comes to TV Land sked info. It's staying on TV Land at 11:30 AM Saturdays until at least October.

Maybe if you would wake up on a Sunday morning and after you sober up from your hangover, you would see that FKB airs on Sunday mornings right after Hazel, right before Gunsmoke!!! Carry your behind to the General Sitcoms Message Board, and you will see. You seem to be the monkeybrained bully around here...

One more time, for the tuba section: the original petition idea was started because of the elimination of FKB as a DAILY show on TV Land.

Daily means everyday in the TV world. Weekdays is 5 days a week. Get your facts straight
