Many times they wrote Wojo's part to be a Jerk and his girlfriend remained Sweet !

Much of it filmed in Wojo's Apartment.

I love her explanation of how she became a hooker !

When she described her type of man ... Wojo says that type could be Hundreds of men and she replies "Thousands"

They end up moved in together and then we never hear about it again ?

It was apparently a pilot for a separate show that would focus on the home life of one of the detectives each week. I think "Fish" emerged from that idea. The girl, Darlene Parks, didn't have much TV/movies experience, and this is her last credit on IMDB.

"Wojo's Girl" was a special hour-long episode (from season five) that also doubled as a backdoor pilot for a proposed spinoff series that sadly never materialized; if my memory serves me correctly, the spinoff's tentative title was "Off Duty." The ultimately aborted spinoff would've focused on the personal lives of the 12th Precinct detectives off duty (hence its title).
