Default Time change starting Sept 30 on TVL

I Love Lucy will still air 9:30am e/p, but the 9pm slot will now belong to Gilligan. I Love Lucy will move to 11:30pm. Ratings are probably down.

Also, Lucy Saturday nights have been removed. This schedule starts Monday Sep 30, for the full schedule check the General Sitcoms board.

Ugh, that really stinks.
When I Love Lucy first started airing on TV Land, they ran promos that said they would give I Love Lucy the treatment it deserved. It certainly doesn't deserve this!

Thumbs down

I find it annoying for TV Land to do this. Believe it or not but I Love Lucy is one of TV Land's top shows and by removing it completely from prime-time is down right unfair. The Andy Griffith Show has been on both TV Land and prime-time longer than I Love Lucy and to hear that I Love Lucy is being dropped and The Andy Griffith Show isn't well I find that to be a total shock. It is really a bummer. And to make matters worse is that TV Land recently gave The Andy Griffith Show the 7:30pm timeslot despite that it is on prime-time already. I don't know - - - is it just me or TV Land?

AHH WHAT?? WHY?? HOW?? Ok.. sorry im a bit frusterated. This isnt fair!! I love Andy Griffith and all.. but do we really need to see the show like 8 times a day?? Id ont think so, I think if Tvland took a few of those hour slots off from the Andy Griffith show, I think they'd actually have more room instead of dropping the good shows that bring the viewers to even think of watching them!! UGH. I dont get it!!

Maybe they should drop one of TAGS airings. I would hate for people to hate it like they do Cosby or Cheers because of tv land running it into the ground.

The reason why I say they need to drop one of the airings is so it will slow down some of the episodes and we won't reach those awful color episodes so fast.

I agree with you completely!!! I hate Cheers and The cosby show now with a passion because they ran those shows into the ground.. its like a radio station over playing a song too much!
