Many years ago (maybe 2003?) my PBS affiliate aired the Minister shows on Saturday nights. But it didn't last long. I do have the Yes, Prime Minister collection on DVD now.

It's quite specific to the UK. The Civil Service remains in place even after a General Election, unlike the USA where a whole new administration is brought into the White House. The comedy arises when the conservative Head of the Civil Service tries to frustrate the elected government's agenda.
