"Person, Place or Thing" Game Show to Launch on Fox Television Stations Following Successful Summer Test Run

Fox First Run is set to launch "Person, Place or Thing", hosted by Melissa Peterman (Reba), this fall on Fox Television Stations following a successful four-week test run last summer.

The half-hour weekday show has been sold across 89% of the U.S. in 161 markets from various station groups, including Sinclair, Nexstar, Scripps and Tegna, according to Fox First Run.

"Person, Place, or Thing" is a game where players ask “yes” or “no” questions to correctly determine the identity of a person, place, or thing.

Created by Jeff Proctor and Paul Franklin, the game show intersperses comedy with common knowledge to hold audiences’ attention for a fast paced 30 minutes.

I have enjoyed what I can see of Person, Place, or Thing. Too bad it is stuck on a Nexstar station here, they schedule their affiliates terribly. I would much rather see Person, Place, or Thing in the 3PM hour than worthless 48 Hours. 48 Hours is the show that deserves to be buried late night at 1:37AM.

Oh so it must've been the first run test run shows I came across on one of the streaming channels a couple of weeks before Person, Place, or Thing debuted last week on one of our local area TV stations. I like Melissa Peterman, and I like the show although I can usually guess the answers before the contestants do, LOL. But I think they need to get rid of the animated tweeting bird that they have on screen. It's just kind of annoying and distracting and there's really no point to having it at all. But other than that it's an enjoyable show.

I'm enjoying the show and I do like Melissa Peterman, but I have to say I don't like how she's dressing for the show, I think most of the clothes they're dressing her in are ugly. And I wonder where they found the British announcer guy Jamie, he just seems like an odd choice for the show but I do like the banter between him and Melissa Peterman, LOL.
