So, James turns in about $27,000 that was left by the Robbers in Borgen's Supermarket. On the news, he was told he would be getting a compensation from Borgen's Supermarket for turning in the money. The News fails to say that the compensation was only a $50 gift certificate, so the Evans start getting harassed over the compensation money. JJ nearly gets BEAT up when his Friends ask him to loan money he doesn't even have(They start shoving JJ around taunting him for "Being so loose with money" , that scene was uncomfortable for me,
thank God James saved JJ. JJ does his "Put up his dukes," shtick but then seriously says something like,"Thanks Dad. I was seriously getting scared." The sad thing was how quickly the scene was escalating. It started out with JJ's"Friends cheerfully asking how he was doing, and then it escalated into them demanding he loan them money, and then start shoving him around while JJ looks bothered. It would have ended up with a serious beat down had James not saved JJ. ![]() The Evans get harassing phone calls cussing them out for turning in $27,000, they get thrown a dummy doll with the caption saying something like,"Here's a dummy for the funny family that gave back $27,000! JJ, Thelma, Florida, and Michael had NOTHING to do with James turning in the $27,000, I felt so bad for the harassing they all got for something that only JAMES did. The News REALLY should have just said it was a $50 gift certificate, not imply the compensation would be in money. |

Maybe the point was no good deed goes unpunished. Sometimes, I think there's value in being anonymous. I wouldn't want any publicity if I found money and returned it to the owner.

At least at the end of the episode, 63 People were actually like,"The Evans were right to return that money." Although about 259 people thought the Evans were idiots to return all the money, at least 63 people were on the Evans side. Hopefully those 63 people could change the roughly 259 people who thought the Evans were idiots. A simple,"The money was stolen from a Robbery and wasn't theirs. Had the Cops found the Evans with that money, they could have been arrested and jailed for using stolen money." The 259 people could be like," Hmm. You have good points. They were right to give that money back."
