Ray Charles and the famous Diet Pepsi commercials
In 1993 to attract a selling audience Diet Pepsi debuted a series of commercials with a new slogan and spokesman to help sell more Diet Pepsi. Who the new spokesman turned out to be was none other than legendary singer Ray Charles who introduced the new slogan "You Got The Right One Baby Uh-Huh". Ray would continue to do these commercials until 1996 and they were so fun to watch. It's no secret why Ray Charles became Diet Pepsi's popular spokesman and it did sure sell a lot of Diet Pepsi
