Does anyone know if the show what's happening was in the top 30 during it's 3 year run? I thinking it probably wasn't since it only lasted 3 years.

May I suggest going to you local library or even going to a local bookstore and buying the TV bible, that every TV fan would or should own. It's called, "The Complete Directory to Primetime Network and Cable TV Shows 1946-Present".
That book holds the answers to most of your ratings questions and is where I'm getting this info. 1976-1977 season ranked #25. Last two were below #30. |

What's Happening was actually in the top 30 in the 77-78 season also. It was #28 tied with Monday Night Football. |
