Default Does anyone know the ratings for Happy Days from 1975-1980?

I was curious about how the show Happy Days did in the ratings once they went to a live studio audience which was 1975. It was surprising that the show could not compete with the show it created-L&S

1977-1978: (2)
1978-1979: (4)
1979-1980: (15) this was a tie

Hope that helped.

Do you know what show it was tied with at the 15th spot? Well if the 79-80 season was #15 with all the original cast still on the show, that must mean that the 80-81 season was like a 35

Well if it was 15 in 80, you know it was lower in the remaining four years. Once a show falls to 15, that's it-no coming back-

I could be wrong about this, but I'm almost sure I saw somewhere, maybe the Happy Days Fan Club, that the 1980-1981 season actually ended at #17, while '81-'82 ended at #15.. I'm not saying anyone is wrong, just what I seem to remember seeing.. I think the whole Joanie & Chachi thing kind of brought new life to the series, at least for a while.

The show it tied with was NBC's "Real People."

You may be right, my info may be wrong, I don't know. Here's the link to where I got the info: http://www.angelfire.com/ny2/televisioncity/7580.html

I just realized that I typed that wrong. I meant to say that I thought I read somewhere that the '79-'80 season came in at 17, while the '80-'81 season finished at 15.. I'm trying to remember exactly where I came across this info, it was either Happy Days Online or Happy Days Fan Club. Like I said, I might be wrong, or the info might be wrong. Does anyone know what kind of ratings the show was getting before more importance was placed on Fonzie?

I CAN SEE WHY THE RATINGS DROPPED THOUGH BECAUSE TWO OF THE MAJOR CHARACTERS LEFT THE SHOW IN 80-RICHIE AND RALPH, AND THEN THE SHOW TRIED TO MAKE A LESS IMPORTANT CHARACTER THE MAIN FOCUS OF THE SHOW LIKE JOANIE-WHAT WAS THAt??????
