This was an early 90's episode, 3 guys went hunting and one was murdered, they found the guns, the ATV, and dogs lead the way to the murderer and the case was solved! It was in Chattanooga, TN.

From your neck of the woods, ha? Wow, that must mean you are a "Tennesseean." Yes, that case was pretty scarey. But what makes it even more heartless is, why? What was the point? So, three men were out riding their ATV's, and this guy shoots them for no reason? Maybe he was up to some illegal activity, and the three riders happened to see him or something, I don't know. But I'm glad the scum who shot them was behind bars.
On the update, Unsolved Mysteries said that the killer was suspected from the very beginning. But they didn't say why. A few more details were never mentioned. Like the woman who was standing on the side of Roberts Mill Road telling cars that they couldn't get through. Evidently, this was right next to the hill where the ATV's had been thrown. Maybe she was a relative or friend of the killer? That was a pretty scarey and sad case. I'm glad that guy is locked up. Throw away the key! |
