Ever since he made his debut in 1995 with his self-titled album in Spanish it seemed that Enrique Iglesias was destined to follow in his father's footsteps by crossing over to the English language market after releasing albums in Spanish. When Enrique released his first English album also titled Enrique it seemed that Enrique Iglesias was ready to expand his new horizons and attract the English audience. But when the song Hero came out in 2001 from Escape it seemed that he could attract the English market well. But I can never understand why some teenage girls had crushes on him? I think teenage girls were his big English audience and that's why he became popular with teenage girls. But I think Enrique Iglesias was trying to expand to the R&B market because he puts rap artists on his songs on his recent albums. And now you don't hear anything about Enrique Iglesias anymore and it tells me that Enrique is heading toward R&B music now
