Why do they cost over $45 for one set? I have a suspicion that they may be out of print , but I can't be sure

I'm not 100% sure. It may be that they are Burn-on-Demand titles but I don't think they are OOP.

They're not OOP-- indeed, they are burn-on-demand (or as Warner Bros. defines them, MOD).

Limited audience? These shows haven't been in syndication as much as other medical shows and don't have the name recognition that more recent shows have. If you subscribe to Warner Archive, you can stream both series:
