Default Favorite season of Bewitched

What are fans fav seasons (not episodes) of Bewitched? Mine is season number 4 . Both Elizabeth Montgomery and Dick York were are really well combined team by then and it was the last season before Dick York's troubles started to become more apparent. Also the stories of this season were still fresh and funny with some of the best episodes appearing during this season.

I would say my favorite season of BW is season three. The actors were still in peak form. It was the first season the show was in color. The scripts were outstanding and included some of the most romantic episodes--here are some of the standout episodes from season three:

Nobody's Perfect/Moment of Truth (the 2-parter where Tabitha's powers are finally revealed)

Endora Moves in for a Spell

The Short Happy Circuit of Aunt Clara

The Trial and Error of Aunt Clara

Three Wishes

I Remember you, Sometimes

Charlie Harper, Winner

THAT IS HARD TO SAY, IN MY OPINION THE FIRST 4 SEASONS OF BEWITCHED WERE THE BEST. THE CHEMISTRY THAT ELIZABETH MONTGOMERY AND DICK YORK HAD WAS INCREDIBLE. BUT TO CHOOSE ONE IT WOULD HAVE TO BE SEASON 3. IT WAS THE FIRST SEASON THE SHOW WAS TELEVISED IN COLOR AND ALSO EVERYTHING JUST CLICKED INCLUDING THE CHARACTERS AND THE WRITING. THE SHOW WAS ALSO AT THE PEAK OF ITS POPULARITY IN THE RATINGS.

The first four seasons are my favorite too but technically Bewitched was at its highest ratings peak in the 1st season, at #2.

Mine would be 2 & 4, but I loved the first five seasons. I'm not a fan of the Sargent era...not because of him but because the plots and such were stale and recycled. I still think they should've called it quits at the end of Season 5, but I digress.

I'm a fan of the first season with Pleasure O'Reilly and Shelia in it, but I like all the seasons with Dick York.

Hmmmm...tough question. I think seasons 1-3 are my fav. There are some good episodes in season 4 but I think that's where the show started to loose steam.

I really like seasons 1-5. i have only seen a couple of episodes with Dick Sargent so i cant really judge those yet, and have an opinion on them. I really couldnt stand gladys kravitz #2 though ergh.

I've been re-watching Season 5, and even though I'm not a fan of the Darrin-less episodes, there were a lot of bright spots in the season. I especially LOVE Samantha as the southern belle (with guest spots by Isabel Sanford and Jack Cassidy!), when Uncle Arthur switches Sam's and Darrin's voices, and Sam fighting to keep the city park. This is the first time I've seen Season 5 since July, since I loaned the set to a friend and just got it back the other day. Oh well, at least I have it back now.

Season 3....the first color season and it had a good helping of Aunt Clara episodes also - can't go wrong with that! Elizabeth was gorgeous in all of the seasons, but IMO, she looked her best in # 3. Most of my favorite episodes are from # 3.

Yes. I liked the first Gladys A LOT MORE. She was more confused and frightened by the goings-on next door--not determined to go on an all-out witch hunt like Gladys #2. IMO, Galdys #2 was Cotton Mather in drag.

^ I agree with Rich. The Alice Pearce version of Gladys Kravitz rocked.
