I'd like to go back to school in Sept. instead of Aug.! My school doesn't have air conditioning & I'm gonna have a heat stroke!

Uugh, I feel so sorry for you.. The school I went to this summer for courses didn't have any AC/fans either. -dies- I don't know how these teachers can stand there and scream at us, lol.

and BTW, I go back to school on Sept. 5th. However, I got off June 28th.

Well, thank you for feeling sorry for me.

I appreciate that cause last year, I got sick because of the heat. I think we had a couple of days left, & it was a really hot day in June. We were in English class watching some movie & it was burning up in there! The only thing we could do was open windows, & I sat right in front of a window that kept slamming shut & scaring everybody! It didn't help anyway, but I got to feeling bad & almost passed out. It was awful, & shouldn't happen at school. Now the school at our county seat has everything from all the heat & air they want, & all the students have laptop computers! What's worse is that that school controls our heat in the winter, & I think they're trying to freeze us to death! Stupid schools! I dont wanna go back Tuesday. blah, blah, Well, sorry about typing so much. I hope all of u in school have a fun year.

I think it's stupid that some schools start before Labor Day. Labor Day marks the end of summer and school shouldn't start till after that. When I was in school, the first day of classes was always in September. I mean it doesn't make sense to go back to school for a couple days and then get a Labor Day vacation.

I agree; that's like having a day off on a Thursday, going back on Friday, then having another two days off on Saturday and Sunday.

They might as well grant us a five-day weekend.

I think it's stupid that towns right next to each other have different back to school dates. That's the case here. I really mad about that.
