While listening to music I found a cute album by Tony Bennett called The Playground and it was released in 1997 and it appears to be Tony's first children's album. The Playground features children's songs sung by Tony Bennett in a really fun way and features celebrity appearences by Elmo Kermit The Frog and Rosie O'Donnell. Some of the songs featured on The Playground are Inchworm It's Only A Paper Moon and Being Green. But one song that really was fun to hear and this song should be played during Mother's Day that really stood out for me was a song Tony sings titled My Mom and the lyrics are so funny like a Mother's Day poem. Was Tony Bennett trying to branch out to children with The Playground album in 1997?

What made Tony Bennett decide to branch out into making children's music with The Playground album in 1997? Did Tony always dream of making children's music albums? I relistened to The Playground album this morning and it is so cute and who knew that Tony Bennett and children's music could mix together so well and he should've made more albums of children's music in his career
