I remember it. It was the first episode of Step By Step that I ever watched.

I saw that episode a long time ago. It was good. I liked the part where they were all following Urkels dance. That part stands out in memory.

Yeah second epsiode. I always thought it was a very stupid move to have a brand new show feature a well known character like Urkel. (It wasn't a spin off either as far as I can remember. Didn't Steve come through a rocket ship and crash in their yard! Quality.) I mean, what other reason could they bring him on the show right off the bat other than to help the show out... maybe bring some Family Matter fans to the Step By Step side. LAME. Obviously it couldn't hurt the show. If you were gonna actually sit through it, you wouldn't go, "Geez, they bring Urkel on this soon. What a dumb show! I'm not watching anymore."

Wasn't that also the same year Steve went on Full House? At LEAST that show wasn't new when he came on, but I'm sure it was also to help its ratings because the Urkel Mania was fierce.

It wasn't the same year.
The FH-FM crossover was done a season before the FM-SBS one.

Full house was in its 4th season back then. For SBS it was indeed the 2nd episode.

Also Dana was on an episode of boy meets world when BMW was in Disney World. Cory(lead character on BMW) meets a girl at the dolphin tank named Dana and they chat it up for a few.

ABC never promoted this crossover, but it happened.

I remembered that Steve went on Full House before SBS, and since I knew SBS had him on the second episode, Steve would most likely have been on Full House the season before. Technically it was the same year--he was on both shows in 91. But you're right--different seasons. I should have written my last post more clearly.
