As long as we're talking classic TV I'll quote Roger Addison, "Wilbur you're a nice fellow, but when get around that horse", that's kind of the way I feel about METV, I love METV but those articles on their website.....

Based on the information in the article, who knows what Douglas wanted after the series ended, I always had the impression she was very satisfied with her career. The staff writer's take on the career of Donna Douglas is bizarre, "Donna Douglas was more than just the pretty face of The Beverly Hillbillies, and deserves to be remembered as such", who is remembering her as "just a pretty face", this is a conclusion the writer is jumping to without any evidence.

I agree with Duster she seemed to be pleased with what she accomplished in her career.
