I asked him what it was like to work in a wheelchair on "Mom" and if it was hard for him. He said that he worked with a technical advisor that they had on set who would constantly watch his movements to see if he did anything he shouldn't have.

He told me it was very important for everyone that "they get it right" in portraying someone in a wheelchair.

The photo I had him sign was from The Dark Knight where he had a small, but memorable role at the beginning of the film.
