Certainly Godfather part 2 (though the orginal Godfather was great,too). I may be in the minority on this one, but I liked "Rooster Cogburn" with John Wayne and Katherine Hepburn more than "True Grit".

Texasville (even tho I didn't see The Last Picture Show, Vivi told me it was alot of nakie people.... I liked Texasville a lot)

That's really all I can think of... the only other movie with a sequel that I can think of is The Exorcist and the sequel was soooooo not better than the first, so....l

It's been awhile since I saw The Last Picture Show, but I don't remember there being any naked people except for when Cybil Sheperd took off her bathing suit top before diving into a swimming pool.That scene had a purpose to the coming of age theme of the movie. Especially because of that theme I think you'd be interested to see Last Picture Show. I consider it to be one of the best movies I've ever seen.
