Why did Vanessa stop dating Robert? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I remember when vanessa was so crazy about robert in the earlier episodes but why did she all of a sudden have him has a friend and that's it-i saw a episode when he was just hanging around the huxtable house while vanessa was upstairs with her friends-so i think i missed the breakup episode

I think they broke up because she had a crush on some other guy...but I'm not sure. They were in junior high, and that's just what happens with junior high relationships. I never expected them to stay together. I liked Robert though. I thought he was cute and funny. I liked that they stayed friends for a while (kind of reminds me of Rudy and Kenny in later seasons.)

I remember when she was so crazy about him and then there was a episode when e was begging to get back with her and she said no-i was wondering did he all of a sudden become nerdy once they started going together?
