Most family shows don;'t have the grandparents on the show all the time-Every time Grandpa Russell and his wife came on the show-I turned it off-They made any episode they were on boring-Bad idea for the producers to have them on the show

I thought they were a really good addition to the show...there were some classic moments with them on!

I thought the Cosby show was boring too when the grandparents were on. They were on the show too much.

Agreed. If you think it also happened on this show, it also happened during the final season of the Hogan Family.

I wonder since the actors who played Cliff's parents are still alieve and in good health, I think that maybe the actors who played Cliff's parents are not old enough to actual be Bill Cosby's parents.

Yes both are still alive-they were on the cosby show Reunion back in may

But still how old is Cosby. I think he is in his 70's. His actual parents are either dead of well into their 90's.

bill cosby is 64

Only 64, he seems older because he has been in the business for a long time.

His 50th birthday i think was either in 87, 88 or 89-i don't know for sure but i do know that he is not in his 70"s yet.

According to an almanac, Entertainment Tonite, and imdb.com, Bill Cosby was born on July 12th., 1937. Bill is 65,(5 years younger than John Hillerman) and I think that his parents may still be alive. Other than my school bus driver, I do not know anyone who is is the same age as Bill or in that vincinity.

i totally disagree. tcs was a show about a family. the grandparents were a part of that family. also, if the grandparents weren't on the show, we wouldn't have had those wonderful lipsyncing performances done for their anniversaries. i felt the grandparents also added a different sense of culture and history to the show...seems few ppl are interested in that anymore.

It was nothing wrong with the grandparents being on the show, they were on too much. Most family shows you never saw the grandparents and if you did, it was only once or twice-not 11 or 12 times. For example, happy days, you didn;t see richie's grandparents every other episode.

The Grandparents were borring! Whenever they were on the show it was all about classicall jazz music which to little kids has zero interest!
