Is there gonna be a remake of Road House? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I read in People Magazine that there is gonna be a remake of the 1989 movie Road House and I would like to know if it's true? What I learned about it so far is that Jake Gyllenhaal will play the same character as the late Patrick Swayze did in the original 1989 version of Road House. It is surprising that Road House is being remade because Road House was one of Patrick Swayze's finest films and I do hope Jake Gyllenhaal does a neat job in the movie and will make Patrick Swayze proud if he was alive today

I think people are expecting Road House's remake to be a strong hit but I think what will make Road House a smash hit will be Jake Gyllenhaal and when you put Jake in a good movie you know it will do good. I have liked Jake Gyllenhaal since he provided the voice of Searcher Clade in Disney's Strange World and I think Patrick Swayze would be honored and proud of Jake remaking his movie if he was alive today

I think it will be pure trash!!

People today cannot act,they have been so dumbed down its not funny.....

I have no desire to watch ANYTHING made after about 2007..I can just look outside and see them in action!!

ROAD HOUSE was kiind of a remake,. The original was in 1948.....
