Disney+ launches Rennervation - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Surely we know Jeremy Renner as everybody's favorite Marvel superhero Hawkeye and from Paramount+'s hit series Mayor Of Kingstown but we'll get to see Jeremy Renner do something different. Debuting April 12th Disney+ will launch Rennervation which is Jeremy's very first reality show in history. The show will feature Jeremy Renner and a team of celebrities as they try to improve vehicles houses and playgrounds for communities in need. Though it may seem like a cross of Extreme Makeover Home Edition and CBS's reality series Tough As Nails Hawkeye might have some competition with Ty Pennington and Phil Keoghan and may even become the new Bob Vila

I saw the debut episode of Rennervation on Disney+ yesterday morning and I can honestly say this show looked promising from the preview trailer but on the show itself it was disappointing. For one thing the episodes are way too long and I thought each episode was gonna last 30 minutes and second the show seems to focus on Jeremy Renner's crew and Jeremy himself only shows up in certain parts and I don't know how in the world this show was even made. I did notice that they used some of Jeremy Renner's songs in the show and he even does the theme song to Rennervation as well. I think this show was made to turn Jeremy Renner into a home improvement host like Ty Pennington and Bob Vila and I think now due to this show he wants a show like This Old House and I can sense a huge merchandise deal with Lowe's or The Home Depot in the future. While I doubt we will see more episodes of this show made this is one show that Disney+ needed to promote more
Overall Grade: C "you could've done much better Jeremy"

Hi, Bestie! I saw that show too. I think they rushed it. Rennervations is a good idea and Jeremy is good at construction so I hope the get a new director or something because I want this show to succeed. What do you think?

I think why Disney+ wanted to make Jeremy Renner have a reality show was so that he could make himself a bigger household name and become really famous for Disney by doing more shows as a second hobby in addition to his movie career but I think now that he's recovering marvelously I think next year Jeremy Renner will most likely begin a new career as a informercial host selling power tools and home improvement books like Bob Vila did. I was very disappointed with Rennervation because as I mentioned in my opening post this show showed promise from the previews that they showed but it just wasn't what I thought it would be but Disney+ should've done something better with Jeremy Renner. I mean Disney+ has had other successful celebrities with shows such as Jeff Goldblum and Chris Hemsworth but this show in my eyes could've been promoted better. At least one good and perhaps the only marvelous thing about Rennervation is Jeremy Renner's song Rebel On The Road is one of my favorite songs and even though it is short I LOVE the lyrics about not giving up and not listening to what other people tell you and it's a great theme song that fits Rennervation well. I sure wish there could've been a Rennervation soundtrack released
