Post Tabitha

I just found out today that one of the Supervisors in my department is Diane Murphy....yes the twin of Erin Murphy. Can anyone tell me any episodes that Diane was in. Or is there a picture of the 2 of them anywhere? Just curious

I read somewhere that Diane and Erin Murphy were Tabitha, but the next year or so-as Diane grew up looking slightly different from her sister,Erin assumed the role totaly.I noticed that between January,1966-when Tabitha was born-and September of that year-when her powers were discovered-she had aged fairly quickly.(Chuckle!)

DARRIN:It was wonderful living with one beautiful witch,so it'll be twice as good living with two.

Cool

I was watching the show "I've Got a Secret" on Oxygen, and both girls were on. They're about what, 30 now? I taped it, by the way, they're both beautiful! And Erin is now married to a guy named Darrin.

I can't remember where I read it, but I remember reading that there are only one or two episodes where you can clearly tell that Diane is playing Tabitha.

Actually there were seven kids playing Tabitha.

1. Laura Black (who was probably alternated with a doll) played Tabitha the day she was born.

2. Heidi and Laura Gentry played Tabitha as a young infant

3. Tamar and Julie Young played Tabitha as an older infant

4. Erin and Diane Murphy played Tabitha ages 1 (15 months) to age seven.
They were actually fracturnal twins, but were probably cast because Erin
was a dead ringer for Elizabeth Montgomery as a baby. The episode where
Tabitha discovered she was a witch, she was in a sequence where she was
making the pots and pans in the kitchen go flying would have taken hours to shoot, so because of child labor laws involving babies, (they were almost two when this was being shot) Erin was used to play Tabitha in close ups and Diane was Tabitha in long shots. In some episodes it was really obvious who was playing Tabitha. In the teaser of one episode one year old Tabitha played by Diane Murphy was in her playpen saying "Teddy bear, teddy bear", and made the teddy bear fly to her. In another episode in the next season, Diane Murphy played Tabitha in a shot where she is standing on her bedroom dresser, and Erin Murphy plays her when she was trick or treating. Erin Murphy played Tabitha in the shot where she discoverers she's a witch and makes her stuffed horse fly to her in the doctor's office.
Later, on when Erin and Diane Murphy were four, Tabitha was played completely by Erin Murphy (except in the "Samantha Fights City Hall" episode where she was played by Diane Murphy because Erin Murphy had the mumps.) other then that, Diane Murphy was a stand in for Tabitha. She also played bit parts, ( Tabitha's rag doll brought to life, Annabelle, Tabitha's birthday party guests/friends in the "Bunny For Tabitha" episode, and another birthday party friend/guest in another episode.
