Default Hey Pavanbadal, Just wondering...

Why can't TV Land keep to a regular schedule ? It seems like they are constantly dropping and adding shows and some of the shows that they aired, they didn't show the entire run. Donna Reed I know had over 200 episodes yet it's dropped and Dennis the Menace was dropped after airing only 30 some odd episodes and I'm wondering if Hazel will be dropped when the color episodes begin. Father Knows Best was dropped as well. Whats with them ? Is it they are that confused trying to put a schedule together ? What are your thoughts ? I hope that they will the full run of Soap but with they way they drop shows, It's probably wishful thinking.

I'm not Pavanbadal, lol, but here are my thoughts:

About Soap. I do have a feeling Soap will have a full run because a marathon will feature episodes 24 - 43 or something like that. And the Kitschen will probably start with episode 1, so who knows. I don't know off hand how many eps Soap had.

Square Pegs may get a complete run too because it only has 24 episodes (as far as I know).

Also, Donna, Dennis, etc were dropped because those episodes were converted to Digital or whatever from video and only had the first 36 or so ready. But I have no idea if they will ever come back they were part of the Screen Gems deal.

The Screen Gems deal is very complicated. They have SO many shows in this deal, so it will take a while to convert the episode to digital. TV Land says they have limited access to these shows, but I think that is false, it is all about the digital change.
They aired the first 41 of Dennis, and a few episodes from the later seasons, which had terrible quality, obviously those were the tape quality and were not converted to digital. Hopefully Dennis returns soon, Donna leaves in September. Hazel and Father Knows Best will only air on Sundays in September, like Hazel is now, so FKB will not be on weekdays anymore in Sept.
Like TVJunkie said, they will run Soap episodes 24-43 in the 25th Anniversary marathon on Sept 13. I expect them to air the first 23 in the Kitschen, after episode 43 I'm not sure about...

Square Pegs has 20 episodes, and if it has a chance to complete its run it will be done by October 12th. Then possibly TV Land can maybe fit a new show into the KitSchen. Like Fish, Crazy Like a Fox, Archie Bunker's Place, or Head of the Class. But I don't know really what will happen, *shrugs*

Soap has 93 episodes, and TV Land will air 24-43 in the 25th Anniversary Marathon. After that they might air 1-24 and then skip over from 43-93, but that still 60 episodes to air in the KitSchen!

Anyways, FNB will still air on Sundays at 11:30am eastern.

I hope I Love Lucy is the number one show for TV Land. If not, than my guess is The Andy Griffith Show since they air it in two primetime slots.

Well, I don't have the latest, but I know the top 3 are: Andy Griffith, I Love Lucy, and The Love Boat.

Thanks for your reply. When you do get the latest ratings, would you post them? If its too much trouble then you don't have too. Thanks again for your reply.
