I used to really think this show was filmed in Chicago cause when the show first comes on they show the city of Chicago & the housing projects, the train & people walking down the street. I didn't know this show was filmed at CBS studios in Los Angeles.

The apartment buildings that they show on Good Times when the show first comes on, are those apartment buildings still in Chicago or are they tore down?
