An I Love Lucy St. Patty’s Day:

(Lucy is on the Westport, Connecticut Message Board. Her eyes are popping out.)

Lucy: “Ricky, it says here that there is buried treasure at our houses, guest house. We should get to digging.”

Ricky: “Nothing doing. I learned that if something like that is on the Internet, then it ain’t true. Besides, there might be a water mane underneath that guest house and I don’t want to mop it up.”

Lucy: “Oh Ricky!”

Ricky: “Nothing doing. I’ll see you tonite dear. Good thing Little Ricky is at a sleepover.”

(He leaves. Lucy gets the shovel and barges into the guest house.)

Lucy: “Hiya Fred & Ethel.”

Ethel: “Hello! What is with the shovel?”

Lucy: “We have to dig underneath your house. It says so in the Westport, CT Message Board that there is a treasure underneath the house.”

Ethel (sarcastically): “Oh really.”

Fred: “Don’t just stand there Ethel. Let’s dig.”

Ethel: “All right.”

(They start digging. After a while, Lucy gets some more tools.)

Lucy: “Ethel, with Ricky’s credit card, I spent $1000 on this machine that street works use to dig. Let’s use it.”

(Lucy does and in typical Lucy fashion, she doesn’t know what she is doing and falls off. Later she starts digging and she hits a water mane just as Ricky enters.)

Lucy: “Hello dear!”

Ricky (yells): “LUCY! WHAT DID YOU DO? YOU BROKE EVERYTHING! I ALSO HEARD YOU SPENT $1000 ON THAT THING. I ALSO HEARD THST WHAT YOU READ WASNT TRUE. YOU BETTER START ‘SPLAININ.”

Lucy (as the Mertzes and Ricky try to corner her): “What an unlucky St. Patty’s Day.”
