Was Betsy wrongly blamed to be the worst character addition to The Mindy Project

The Mindy Project was supposed to be raunchy, satirical and dark and we all know what Mindy's goal was to deal with white boyfriends. Although, Mindy was kind of going too fast on white boyfriends, especially during this show's third season airing on FOX, which made it worse on brawls and chaos between fans, critics and viewers of this show, back then.

But when the Betsy character was added into the beginning this show, she was bland, humorless, and boring, but became lively and funny during this show's second season. Her addition may have been turned out to be fine and there's at least an ounce of irony in her performances and was wrongly declared as not played completely straight, which it turned out to be straight, instead. The correction is that Betsy should have been reduced to a guest in this show's third season during FOX airing and then that would have resulted that this show would have been transferred from FOX to Hulu as:

* Betsy would officially leave this show with her own marriage after season 3 properly.
* No haphzardous cancelled-to-revived status on this show during FOX-Hulu transfer.

TBH, IMO...
