I have noticed several scenes where kids and adults would sit down on top of the coffee table. Maybe I was reared as a prude, but I would never walk into someone's home and park my caboose on a table.
I thought it was interesting that they would have scenes with people sitting down on top of the tables. For one thing, they are lower to the ground so it's awkward when trying to stand up. Secondly, tables are not terribly strong. Just an interesting observation about an era of good etiquette and manners. |
