The show made its debut on Thursday, Sept 15, 1977 at 9:30pm on ABC
The show aired between Barney Miller and the Red Foxx Show The show competed with the Hawaii Five O on CBS and Man from Atlantis on NBC Phila Daily News referred to the show as a "sleeper hit" for the 1977-78 season After the first episode, the show ranked in the top 20 tied with Soap at #14 Jay Sharbutt of the Associated Press predicted the show would be cancelled by January of 1978. The show remained a top 20 show all the way until December of 1977 The show finished the 1977-78 season ranked #32 above Starsky and Hutch The show was moved to Saturdays in season 2 at 8pm and competed with Rhoda on CBS and Chips on NBC After the first two episodes of the 2nd season, Sept 23 and Sept 30th the show ranked #54 and #62 out of 65 shows The show was then moved to 830pm and would not air again until Oct 21, 1978.
