U know how when the show first comes on they show them riding in a limo through New York city. Ya'll know how the cameramen film scenes in New York for the show when it first comes on but they were really filming it in the studios in LA. What network did this show first air? Was it NBC?

Yes, It originally aired on NBC from November 1978-August 1985. Then It joined ABC from September 1985-August 1986.
