Why doesn't getTV get more shows? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

If Sony owns getTV and many classic shows are distributed by Sony Pictures Television, why doesn't Sony work out to keep some more shows for its own channel?

Instead there is paid programming between 6-9, a lot of dramas, and Walker airing over four times a day, even as Walker is on Heroes & Icons.

With Good Times and Sanford & Son potentially leaving getTV for Catchy, it leaves another hole or duplication in getTV's schedule.

A few shows that are distributed by Sony Pictures Television that are popular that could move would be
Hazel (feTV, and Antenna, Great American Living on marathon only basis?)
Bewitched (Antenna TV, Logo on marathon basis, feTV-late night hours)
I Dream of Jeannie (Antenna TV)
Facts of Life (Logo, Rewind TV)

getTV has better coverage than some of these networks and could schedule weekday. Certainly better scheduling or coverage over Rewind TV and probably feTV and Logo TV. With some reshuffling between the digitnets, RewindTV could probably cease. It's not like Nexstar is investing in expanding coverage anyways.

Meanwhile getTV is on YouTube TV, Philo, frndlyTV and many over the air stations subchannels, and consequently cable.

Who knows. FETV has great coverage too but they also have only a few shows on the channel. I wish getTV brought back Starsky & Hutch and Charlie's Angels. Cut back on Walker plz.

Get tv just got Magnum Pi among other action drama shows it almost another Sleuth channel
