In the 1970's Purina Cat Chow debuted a really funny commercial that will make you laugh like crazy when you see it and will make you wonder why cat food commercials are not made like this today. The commercial begins with two cats enjoying a day at the beach when suddenly a big cat bullies the cat and after eating Purina Cat Chow the cat becomes tough and scares the bully cat off and the other cat who's the girlfriend to the cat says "My Hero" and has a cute ending. This commercial first debuted I believe in 1971 and is one of the most fun commercials in pet food history. I wonder why today's cat food commercials aren't as cute as this one? Because if you look at cat food commercials today they aren't as good as they were in the 1970's
