During all those years when Dr. Kimble was trying to avoid the relentless Lt. Gerard and also attempting to track down the one-armed man, he always looked very stylish in those almost trademark London Fog golf jackets of his.
Regardless of whether Richard Kimble was in a big city like Los Angeles or Chicago or in any of hundreds of small towns across America, you’d usually see him wearing one of those classic golf jackets. I guess Dr. Kimble thought that such popular attire would be better to help him blend in and not attract undue attention? When the show went to color, it looked as if Dr. Kimble favored tan, black, grey and classic navy blue as colors for his golf jackets. And, undoubtedly, the good Dr. Kimble must have frequented men’s clothing stores from Maine to California in purchasing all of those cool-looking jackets. I wonder if Dr. Kimble gave one of his old golf jackets to Lt. Gerard as a memento from all of the years that Gerard was trying to recapture the good doctor? |

Then again, Dr. Richard Kimble, medical doctor extraordinaire, who performed all sorts of medical procedures on the people in need of medical assistance that he encountered during his long search for the guilty one-armed man for so many years, might have also rendered medical assistance to his old nemesis, Lieutenant Philip Gerard, by performing a desperately needed hair transplant procedure on the folliclely-challenged police detective.
