Cool A Tabitha series?

I sort of remember seeing a show that had Tabitha as a beautiful 20 year old woman who took over the advertising agency. I only remember a part where she pops in on a party and not much else. Does anyone remember it? Like in the 80's or 90's.

Yes, you are not crazy! Such a show did exist. It was called TABITHA and it was a cross between Bewitched and the Mary Tyler Moore Show. Tabitha worked at a tv station as a production assistant as did her brother Adam (who for some reason-I guess to play the Darrin type of role-had been reverted into a mortal). The show starred Lisa Hartman as Tabitha. A few characters from BEWITCHED showed up in guests shots like the Kravitz's and Dr. Bombay (who BTW, reveals that his first name is Hubert). If viewed on it's own and not compared to BEWITCHED, it's not a bad show. It even won it's time slot when it was aired as a summer mid-season replacement series. There were 13 episodes in all and I have all but one on tape.

I believe it was in the 76 or 77 season. I know it was about that time because Robert Urich's (who played Tabitha's love interest)
next project was on SOAP which started in Sept of 77

A couple of years ago, there was a rumor going around about another series, called "Tabitha: Bewitched Again", that would have starred Erin Murphy, who played the role on the original series. Never heard anything more about it, though.

Ok, here's the info on Tabitha. It ran from 1977-1978, for a 13 episode run. It starred Lisa Hartman as Tabitha Stevens, who drives around in a 1968 Yellow Volkswagon Bug. The Kravitzes made an appearence in one episode. I think that the ratings ranged in the 40's or 50's.
