I have two local TV stations in south Florida that have MeTV. One has a regular one-sentence-or-so description onscreen, while the other shows nothing.
Now…I have a friend who has MeTV in the Roanoke VA market (10-3), along with GetTV (10-2) and StartTV (10-4). He has told me that when he wishes to read which episode he will see, the 10-2 and 10-3 give a *lengthy* description, practically giving away the whole story, seemingly not making it worth watching! 10-4 StartTV, owned by Weigel like MeTV, does not do that, he tells me. I told him this morning what showed on my screen as far as a description. It tells pretty much what I have on my TitanTV listings. So…. I said to him that it seems as if WSLS 10 in Roanoke is copying-and-pasting maybe what is displayed on IMDB or some similar site. He rarely uses a PC and has no smartphone. Did I tell him correctly, that the source is the TV station itself? If not, what do I tell him? I’ll link this discussion for the next time he gets online! Any help would be appreciated. cd |
