Watching the UM episodes always makes me wonder what happens when the blanks got filled in. What were the final moments/days like of people who died? Who would have been in the scariest position prior to their death? The ones who didn't see it coming don't apply here obviously. Here are a few.
For me the three men who died - or were presumed to have died - off the Casie Nicole. Nathan Neesmith survived, but he barely survived. He was found adrift and he hadn't had water for 4 days. That would have been the most hopeless 4 days I think a person could ever have. But since we assume the other three men perished, I can't imagine their last days being anything but terrifying. Imagine not knowing whether or not a big fish was going to take a bite out of you. Or if or when you'd die of thirst or just drown if the raft you are on doesn't hold up. Or seeing both of your buddies die in the middle of the night in the middle of the ocean and knowing you are right behind them. Sherry Eyerly comes to mind as well. She takes a shift she wasn't supposed to take. She delivers pizzas to a location that she can't find in a remote area. She's 18, it's night time, and then she sees the culprit come and get her and struggle with her with no one in sight. If the culprits who admitted to telling the police that they were the ones who killed Lauria Bible and Ashley Freeman it sounds like they had a horrific final few days. Just a classic case of being at the wrong place at the wrong time for Lauria especially. Then seeing men shoot your parents and then burn down your home. And then they still kidnap you and rape you over and over until they kill you. |

Jeremy Bright, if the story about him dying slowly from an untreated gunshot wound is true.

Dave Bocks: let's just hope he was unconscious or already deceased when lowered into that furnace.

That banker that was tied to the chair alive and thrown over a bridge.

Joan, Michelle, and Christe Rogers (I honestly have a hard time watching anything about them or Oba Chandler), and Gus Hoffman.

You know the ironic thing is that we all know they suffered a horrific last day or so of their life. And especially being the last one to be taken advantage of and then tied up and thrown in the ocean would be horrifying. So that is just pure torture. And yet on the flip side I am sure they had a blast the last week of their life in Florida. They were at Disney World (which was just the Magic Kingdom and Epcot at that time), Kennedy Space Centre, I can't remember if it was Sea World or somewhere like that as well. Anyway, fun, fun stuff. Memorable stuff. And then a horrific finish.
