Average, we are a huge population and a lot of dummies and ignorant people in it all.

Limited critical thinkers in my circle of life friends.....I probably didn't develope a lot of C.T. skills until later in my life and got out of the rat race and had more time to Think....this is about me.

Surely there were a lot of critical thinkers that were Young. A friend said she "woke up" in 5th grade on the religion she was being brought up in. It took me into my 30's....

But so much has gotten worse in recent times since 2019-2020.

I think a lot of Americans think they are smart, when the opposite is true.

I know plenty of uneducated (Americans) people who think they are the "smartest person in the room" when actually they are the most ignorant.

I believe that a great number of Americans have learned how to weaponize their own ignorance as an excuse for not having to care. Which is probably pretty smart.

As I see it, there is so much truth to hearing from those who have lived long and interesting lives as they have so much to share of their long lives. Not true of all older people that is for sure.

And then of course are the folks unable to understand ANY point of view contrary to their own, under some general assumption that any thought process other than their own, is nonsense.

Oh yes, the ones I know from this category are taking most of what they believe from their boob tubes.
