Another sad departure. The pounding beat behind BTO has left us. I just got a call from Fred Turner and my youngest brother Robbie has joined Mum, Dad & brother Gary on the other side. Fred said maybe Jeff Beck needs a drummer to play with. 😉 He was an integral cog in our rock 'n' roll machine and we rocked the world together. #RIP #littlebrother #family Robbie Bachman’s tenure with BTO ran from 1973-1979 and 1988-2005. He played drums on the band’s biggest hits including “Takin’ Care of Business,” “Roll On Down the Highway” and “You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet,” which was a number one hit in six countries including the United States and the band’s native Canada. |

2023 is not turning out to be a good year. First Jeff Beck, then Lisa Marie Presley, and now Robbie Bachman. Maybe this year will turn out to be better, but it's certainly not off to a great start.

Sad to learn about this, R.I.P. Robbie Bachman. Robbie's drumming style was important to the BTO sound.
I loved BTO back in the 1970's, their albums have songs with catchy melodies, solid guitar work and Fred Turner's amazing vocals.
