I prefer full screen, but once I get used to seeing something in wide screen, if I watch it in full screen I feel like I'm getting jipped outta things. JMO

This might sound like a really dumb question, but is widescreen where you have the two black bars?

Yea, Widescreen is where it has the black bars, like on ER. I love widescreen! It just looks alot better. Did you kno you can buy widescreen tvs now? Thats pretty kool.

...and I agree about the shows on widescreen! It's as annoying as TNN's black bar!

I hate fullscreen. You have no idea how much of the picture you actually missing when you watch a movie in fullscreen. I paid a lot of money on a big widescreen TV and I get really annoyed when TV stations broadcast their movies in fullscreen!
I am aware that widescreen TV's haven't really taken off in the States but in the UK it's actually pretty hard to buy a 4:3 (fullscreen) TV nowadays - it's all widescreen.
