2nd Annual Sitcom Online Awards
Ladies and Gentelmen, due to a famil emergancy i must now officially close the votings on this all my award shows, all the votes have been counted and here are the results. (all votes recived by 3:25 pm, August 22, 2002, est/standard time).
And The Winners Are. Best Current Comedy Series- TIE Will and Grace and Friends- with 8 votes each. Raymond and That 70's Show each got one vote each and Scrubs recieved zero votes. Best 70's Sitcom- Three's Company- with 10 votes Mary Tyler Moore Show is second with 4 votes All in the Family is third with 3 votes Taxi had one vote and One Day at a time had zero. Best 80's Show- A very close race but Golden Girls with 9 votes Facts of life is second with 8 votes. Family Ties had one vote with Gimme a break and Punky B having none. Best 90's- Seinfeild with 10 votes Mad about you had 4 votes Cybill had 2 and wings had one Coach had none Best Actress, in a Current Sitcom Jane Kazmarac, Malcolm In The Middel with 6 votes Debra Messing is 2nd with 5 votes Jennifer Aniston is third with 4 votes Patrica Heaton is 4th with 3 votes and Sarah Chalke got zero Best Actress, Classic Sitcom Rue McClanahan with 8 votes Jean Stapelton is second with 5 votes Mary Tyler Moore is third with 4 votes Nell Carter got one vote Judith Light got zero Best Actor, Current Sitcom Frankie Muniz with 8 votes Matthew Perry is second with 5 votes Eric McCormack is third with 4 votes and Topher Grace and Zach Braff had zero votes Best Actor, Classic Sitcom Carol O'Connor is first with 6 votes Micheal J. Fox is second with 4 votes Bill Cosby had 3 votes Lou Grant and Ted Danson each had 2 votes Best Variety, Talk or Service Show ever- A very close race The Carol Burnette Show with 6 votes The Tonight Show w/ Johhny Carson has 5 votes Rosie O has 4 votes and Oprah has 2 Donahue got zero. Best Current Comedy Series-
Ever sense this past Thursday, I've been pondering wether or not I like Will & Grace, and I decided not to hate it anymore. Doesn't mean I LOVE it, just means that I think it's nice, funny, little show, plus I notice that W&G is beating "Friends" so I have to continue with the fight....  So my choice is Will and Grace. Best 70's Sitcom- Three's Company Best 80's Show- Facts of Life, The Best 90's Sitcom- Out of those, it'd be NONE OF THEM. I think Wonder Years shoulda been a choice. Best Actress, in a Current Sitcom Jane Kazmarac, Malcolm In The Middel Best Actress, Classic Sitcom Rue McClanahan, Golden Girls (Where is Joyce DeWitt or Suzanne Somers?)
