Definitely the parents if that is where the kid got the gun.

Boy, they sure are going to great lengths to protect the identity of the shooter, and his parents.

Age and gender is all they leak out. Almost inspires one to wonder what they are protecting?

Here we are, almost a week later. And no one has yet identified the parents. Seems odd, almost makes you wonder what they are hiding?

Here, if a parent so much as just leaves their children unattended inside a car in a parking lot, their picture is all over the newspaper and TV news reports.

Allowing a child access to a loaded gun one would think might be news worthy?

I heard that story and said " What is upbringing of children these days". I am more concerned of the teachers health. I would think that child would be remove from school, and his siblings as well from the school. You wondered how the families of both the teacher and student will be in 5 years.

This is some scary stuff. A 6 year old who shot his Teacher? Generally, when a Teacher is shot, it's a deranged Adult mass shooter doing the shooting. I think this might be the only story in history that a 6 year old shot a Teacher. Generally, the 6 year old would be the innocent victim in a shooting incident, not the perpetrator. This reminds me of the 6 year old who brutally murdered his 13 day old Baby sister when she wouldn't stop crying (People thought,"Okay, he's only 6. He must have put his hands over the 13 day old's mouth and nose in order to stop her crying, not knowing he was suffocating her," and were stunned he killed her by twisting her body and banging her head repeatedly against the car ceiling." Both of these 6 year olds are very disturbing. The one who brutally murdered a 13 day old baby for crying and the one who shot his Teacher.

There is something fundamentally wrong with this story. Still no ID on the parents.

Locally we have a news story where two parents were arrested for neglect for having an unsafe home with drugs within the reach of a 4 year old....and their pictures are all over the newspapers and TV news.

Yet in this shooting story, you have a parent placing a deadly weapon within access of a 6 year old, who then took the gun to a school, and shot an innocent person.......yet they are shielding the identity of the gun provider?

Something really stinks here. It's like someone has decided that an informed public must be avoided at all cost

Here is an interesting parallel.

In Indiana a preschool age toddler was recorded on an apartment complex security camera brandishing a loaded Smith and Wesson automatic pistol, police were called. And despite no shots being fired the parent responsible has been arrested for felony child endangerment and their identity made publicly known

https://www.wane.com/news/indiana/re...seen-with-gun/

Yet still in the teacher shooting incident, no disclosure has been made as to the identity of the parent who made the weapon available?

WHAT ARE THEY PROTECTING by keeping the parent identity from the public? What interest is being served? really starting to stink, imo

Perhaps I'm getting overly cynical with age, but I'm more suspecting this family might have some tie-in to someone of a sensitive nature. Maybe some one having political clout, or who makes their living being a "social conscience" for the rest of us. Some aspect threatening "dangerous optics" if more info became widespread knowledge.

I could be wrong, just speculating of course. etc etc

But if you compare to just about any other event of similar magnitude, there is not such a total vacuum of data, as we have here.

Why wouldn't the teacher want to sue the parent, for instance? Shooting victims sue the gun manufacturer all the time, and win. So you'd think they would be all over the parent. It's just how America is done these days

Well, the parents of the shooter have finally come forward with a statement

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/fa...be71d9d07418ea

BUT STRANGELY ENOUGH, still no name for them, nor even their skin color. The latter seems particularly curious, considering the race of the shooter is given so much emphasis in most other sensationalized accounts of shootings.

The story becomes more convoluted.
