Doc Johnson
The Christmas episodes have a recurring theme of Tim losing to Doc Johnson in the neighborhood lighting contest. Doc is never seen though. Ed Asner, Abe Vigoda, and Bob Newhart all would have portrayed him well.

I second the late and legendary Ed Asner and maybe it is because I have already seen him play a doctor. He plays a doctor during the final season of the A&E show named The Glades which was shown in 2013.
