A Honeymooners XMas Eve

(The Kramdens & Nortons are on a bus on XMas Eve going to a XMas tree lot.)

Ralph: “The tree we are going to buy is not going to be big. It’s just going to be full.”

Alice: “I’m surprised that Ralph didn’t want to get the Charlie Brown XMas tree or that he wanted to dig the tree out of the ground because he forgot the saw like he did one year.”

Ralph (yells): “ALL RIGHT! ALL RIGHT!”

(They go to a XMas tree lot and get a huge tree.)

Alice: “Who is going to pick us up?”

Ralph: “No one. We are going to use the bus.”

Trixie: “Ralph, they are not going to allow us to bring a tree on the bus.”

Ralph: “They most certainly will and I know that for a fact. I’m the bus driver.”

Ed: “And you are built like a bus too.”

Ralph (yells): “DON’T START ANYTHING NORTON! I KNOW WHAT I’M DOING. I GOT IT ALL UP HERE.”

(Points to brain.)

Alice: “You got plenty of it down there too.”

(They take the tree and when they go to a bus stop, they get on the bus without the driver there. As a result, people get loads of sap on them.)

Man (yells): “WHAT’S THE BIG IDEA YOU NUTS, BRINGING A TREE ON BOARD?”

Ed: “He didn’t want to bother anybody and ask them for a ride.”

(The bus driver gets on board.)

Bus Driver (yells): “GET THAT MONSTROSITY OUT OF HERE.”

Ralph (yells): “I’M A FELLOW BUS DRUVER. THEY ARE ALLOWED.”

(Ralph sees the sign that says that XMas trees are not allowed on buses and taxis and Ubers in New York State.)

Ralph: “Huminahumina.”

(They leave.)

Ed: “I know. Let’s go back home via the sewer.”

(Ralph looks at Ed like he’s nuts.)

Ralph: “Wait a minute. Let’s use the subway.”

Alice: “Ralph, that’s nuts. They won’t allow it.”

Ralph: “You are always wrong. I will prove it to all of you.”

(They go to the subway and they are of course denied due to the tree and a state law that prohibits what they are doing.)

Alice: “What are we going to do now Santa? It’s 10p on XMas Eve?”

I have the ending of that episode on a couple VHS tapes!

They have a christmas tree in there and the curtain was about to close and Ralph said HOLD IT.. "We usually dont step out of character but tonight I think its proper for mr and mrs Norton and Mr and mrs Kramdon to wish everyone a merry Christmas.... Would you come in there Nortons??"
