My favorite episode was the ones when Jessica Tate came to visit Benson to see how h was doing.

The 2nd one was really sad but it stood out for being so memorable.

I think my favorite episode is when Benson and the Governor get stuck on a roof installing a TV or antenna or when Pete borrows Benson's car and totals it catching some robbers..although i actually loved all the episodes..Lou

I agree with Steven (I wonder why????-wink! Wink!) that my favorite eps where the ones from that featured Jessica Tate. I also enjoyed the 1 hour Murder Mystery eps that were usually the season openers every year

I liked when Benson helped the cook become an American citizen by his snide insinutations that she was ignorant. This spurred her to answer the questions correctly, and this also showed that despite their bickering, they really did have regard for one another.

I gotta say that this is one of my favorite shows and all of the episodes are funny - and when Benson and Kraus, or Benson and Clayton start trading the insults, you just can't stop laughing. I have seen many of the episodes and I have a few that stand out in particular. The first one when Benson came to the mansion was great, especially the scene surrounding the leftovers. The second one was when a pile of fish was dropped in the living room of the governor's mansion and Benson tells the press that he has to notify "the next of fin". And then the one when Benson and Kraus accidentally get married at the proxy wedding. Absolutely hilarious. Great show, and i'm glad that Screen Gems is showing it.

I really enjoyed the last man on earth episode where Krause falls asleep in the basement of the mansion and has a dream that she and Benson are the last man and woman on earth after a world wide disaster. She dreams that they have children. The whole episode is just too funny.

Are there repeats of Benson other than Screengems? Anyone know?

I liked the one where Clayton thought he was Benson after losing an award to him-and had to be comitted for a while. It gave a lot of character insight into Clayton Endicott III and gave me more regard for the character and the actor.

Yes, this one ranks among my favorites. Favorite quote:

Benson: "With all the problems Clayton has, why would he want to be black too?"

Too funny

I also like the episode "Masquerade", when they all had to dress up in costumes and a foreign revolutionary group came to steal the "Golden Monkey". That thing was hideous looking but it was worth a fortune. The look on their faces when they finally saw it unveiled was priceless. As Benson said, "I've won better looking things knocking over three milk bottles."

Default Mine?

The 1985 episode when Benson and Governor Gatling are invited to the White House Oval Office to meet the President {Reagan}...but they never do. I liked the scenes where the Governor has trouble with using the "presidential" bathroom, and his regrets about him never being able to be in the White House other than as a "visitor", and Benson chastises him for putting himself down that way. That just about demonstrates how close they are as friends AND political allies. And incidentally, the set they used for the "Oval Office" was the same one used for the short-lived 1985 comedy "HAIL TO THE CHIEF"...another Witt/Thomas/Harris production!
