According to zap2it.com, there will be a marathon this year. Starting on Saturday 12/31 from 11p to 7a and then 12p to 5p. The marathon starts with TV or Not TV at 11p (with MeTV showing it at 12p on Jan 1st.)

Im sure you would love watching those in beautiful analogue like you did in the 80s and earlier!!

I have seen TV or NO TV (I have 7 or 8 episodes from a marathon taped from analogue cable in 1988 and they look goregous)

The picture quality is not that big of a deal to me. If it looks better, hey that’s great.

That’s great that you still have 7 or 8 episodes from 1988.

What’s sad is that there are still episodes out there that are either lost and/or some legal issues are preventing them from being released. Also, what’s not good is that this marathon is broken into two parts and is for the most part ONLY available in the NY area.

I became a fan of the Honeymooners in November 1995 because I rented the VHS release TV XMas Present that has the I Love Lucy XMas Special. I decided to give the Honeymooners a shot and I liked it. Also by coincidence that is when WPIX had their first annual Honeymooners marathon since the 70s. I watched some of the marathon.
