Is there any reason why you can't get Seinfeld on DVD? I would kill for that. There aren't many things I can say that about. Are there any plans for a DVD release?

I'm currently working on putting Seinfeld on DVD and should have the entire set ready in a couple of months. All of the 180 episodes are capped in MPG1 format (about 220MB a piece) and each DVD will hold approximately 21 episodes producing a complete set of 9 DVDs playable on your regular late-model DVD player attached to your TV (or your computer on a DVD-ROM drive).
I've created Disc One already, complete with interactive menus, on DVD-R. It plays in all 4 regular DVD players I've tried. The episodes look excellent (VHS quality) and the higher cap rate shows. I've seen some real crap out there for Seinfeld episodes - these look nothing like the 60MB AVI file versions that are floating around all over the place. The challenge for me now is to find time to do the remaining 8 DVDs. Its taking me about 4-5 hours to create the interactive menus and layouts for each disc and then about an hour to burn each disc. I will provide more technical details on the disc set and DVD player compatibility if you're interested. When I've got the complete set finished, I'll post the information here (and probably Ebay) on how to get copies. |

I finished putting all 180 episodes of Seinfeld on 9 DVDs a couple of months ago and have a few sets available now. Email me for technical details and info on how to download sample clips. Also available is the complete series of Soap on DVD.

this may sound like a dumb question but here goes
I have a DVD Recorder for my television. Do you know if I can record on DVD's then put them in a burner without being Finalized and create playlists and interactive menus because on my recorder you cannot edit or create playlists on DVD-R's only on DVDRams discs can you create playlists. |
