Just being honest, but my advice is to not go to them. I have been to some good ones before, I admit. But in my experience, it is mass produced food, most of it very cheap and not cooked to order.
I lived in Las Vegas about thirty years ago in the early 1990's for a little less than two years. I didnt like it there for different reasons (and I think people who live there either love or hate the place). However, one thing I loved was that eating out (used to be) CHEAP, in the casinos. The casinos lured people in with cheap food and free drinks to get the people to gamble there. However now, on Youtube, I follow two different reviewers (named Pompsie and Ruby) who review hotels and restaurants in Las Vegas. Especially Ruby goes to the buffets and am SHOCKED at the insane prices for a buffet, like $30 for something very average. I am thinking, I am not paying $30 for that. Seriously? I can get a nice cooked to order dinner and even a steak dinner for that price. But since the fake virus of 2020, Las Vegas has gotten "greedy" and jacked up all the prices and stopped with the give aways. I dont know if this is such a great strategy, most of us already live close to a casino back home where the food is still cheap and if someone gambles a bit (and not really a lot, I worked in casinos) they will give it to you free. I have read that Las Vegas is wanted high end people now and not the riff raff, but the high end people are not going to spend $30 bucks at the Circus Cirucs buffet eating dry roast beef and corn dogs. But what do I know. |

Just go to a buffet like Golden Corral where they don't charge by the pound.

There was a self-serve "Mongolian Barbecue" at the mall I worked in, and for a set price they gave you a bowl that you could fill yourself, meats, veggies, garnishes...and then hand it to a chef who would throw it all out on a searing grill, and cook it before your eyes.
Their gimmick was that the meats were thin sliced and frozen, and it appeared as if the slices were wrapped around a large tube while being frozen, shaping each slice like a tube. so you would overflow your bowl if you got too greedy. Didn't take me long to figure out you could press the meats flat with your fist, and add more layers of meat |
