Default Craig Williamson Was A Gaslighting Coward

I don't believe for a minute he had any memory issues. He wanted out of that relationship (and probably had already moved on with another woman). I felt so bad for Christine all of the time she put into looking for him. She was really a good woman. I cringe everytime she feeds up the lines "we still love eachother but we are not the same people" then she says "he doesn't feel the way he did before and I have to accept that". She didn't believe anything she said in the prior sentence. Then it switches over to him feeding us the same lines "we will always be friends and love one another". I call BS. This segment really should have never made it to air there were so many red flags that Craig was a liar. When Christine is asking if he remembers some of the places UM takes him once he is "found" and he is trying to sound genuine saying "no I mean I remember it from the segment but no I don't remember". What a crock of you know what. I wonder if Christine is still alive and if she ever found love? I digress...

She did find someone afterward. Sadly, he passed away not long ago.

Use the search function on this site to find out more. There are two sides to every story and you'll hear a bit from the other side if you do the search. It was a mismatch made in the opposite of heaven. They got married about a nanosecond after meeting. He realized their incompatibility before she did.

He was clearly an emotionally immature individual who wasn't too thrilled with a life that carried too much responsibility. Lots more evidence not shown on UM that proves to me that he left willingly. You'll find it with a little online digging.

There was also a thread on Reddit not too long ago that proved interesting, so be sure to look for that as well.

She got a divorce & eventually married to a somewhat famous author named Herbert G. Houze, who passed away a few years back.

Craig was a parasite, badgered her to start up his stupid farm with her & her families money, then bailed out when he couldn't make it work & saw what hard work it was & left her carrying the can. Clearly the clues he left were his attempt to convince her & the cops he had either taken his own life or been murdered.

She came off as very naive & besotted-apparently they married just a month after first meeting. She clearly didn't know him as a person & discovered the hard way what he was.

All well & good-but he badgered her into coughing up for his pipe dream & then bailed out when he couldn't succeed at it-either through not working hard enough, incompetence. or both. If he worked out they weren't compatible then why didn't he just get a divorce, rather than using her & her family as an ATM & then running off & leaving her to deal with the debts?

What’s really cringeworthy is the update where she’s showing him places in order to “jog his memory,” and he’s pretending not to recognize anything.

She ended up believing him, which is exactly what he wanted.

Craig was a worm. If there was another person who deserved Craig as a "business" partner, I nominate Tyler (Arthur Paul Beal).

Awesome! Craig could raise the fish and absolve himself of the responsibility of selling them by getting Arthur Paul Beal to "steal" them! Then, they could both conveniently get amnesia. It's a win-win.

There was one poster in another thread several years ago who squarely placed all the blame on Christine, essentially saying she was nothing like she was portrayed or portrayed herself to be in the segment. I personally didn't take it seriously, given the tone of the message and that I'm pretty sure they haven't posted again.
I always got the impression the quick marriage was a bad idea, but Craig certainly didn't take the right way out. I felt sorry for what Christine went through and I'm glad she found love again.

That was supposedly Craig's daughter. She also supported the attack excuse, claiming that Craig still suffers from lapses of memory and headaches to this day. Can't believe the family buys into his lame story, but it wouldn't surprise me if some of the other things she mentioned proved to be at least partially true.

I'm sure neither Craig nor Christine were a picnic.

The reason he abandoned her is the same reason she so desperately wanted to find him: money.

https://buffalonews.com/news/man-mis...1d3d7cf15.html

Williamson had $2,500 in cash when he disappeared and may have wanted to flee an overwhelming obligation of his new business. The couple had sunk all they owned into the fish farm and had borrowed another $400,000.

Agreed. I think Craig realized both the marriage and their business was failing, so he bailed. On both. I only wish he had been mature enough to come clean with Christine and admit he wanted out, rather than go to such ridiculous extremes to extricate himself from his life with her.
